ABOUT YOUNG KO, LAC
Young S. Ko, MSOM, L.Ac. has been a Diplomate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for over a decade and is certified by NCCAOM®.
Young graduated with a Master in Acupuncture in 2005 and completed the Certificate in Herbology in 2006. She received her degrees from Tri-State College of Acupuncture, which is known for teaching three very distinct styles of acupuncture, empowering graduates to treat a wide range if issues, in addition to pain, through Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
In 2005, Young Ko interned at China International Hospital in Beijing China, and attended the Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine program at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine from 2007 to 2009. As part of the doctoral program she interned as a clinical supervisor at Tri-State College of acupuncture and has continued to supervise and teach there since 2009.
In 2011, Young established Acu Equilibrium JC, LLC and has been practicing there ever since. In her career, Young has worked with medical professional across the board, including Physicians, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Pain Management Specialists, and Neurologists.
Young was a clinical supervisor for the New Jersey branch of Virginia University of Integrative Medicine in 2021 and since 2022, Young works as a clinical supervisor and instructor at Pacific College of Health and Sciences in New York.
Acu Equilibrium JC, LLC has 2 New Jersey locations. One located at 650A 1st Street in Hoboken and the other location at 360 Ridge Road in Lyndhurst.
